The first quarter of 2024 showcased interesting trends for the top 5 fitness and weight loss programs on a unified platform in Norway. Here's a closer look at how these apps performed based on data from Sensor Tower.

Garmin Connect™ saw a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting from 3.5K in early January and dipping to around 2.3K by the end of March. Despite the drop in downloads, weekly active users remained stable, fluctuating between 133K and 140K throughout the quarter.

Lifesum: Diet and Food Tracker experienced a downward trend in both weekly downloads and active users. Downloads decreased from 4K in the first week of January to just over 1K by the end of March. Similarly, active users dropped from 22K to approximately 18K. Revenue also saw a decline, starting at $40K and ending the quarter at about $24.6K.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike showed a positive trend in several metrics. Weekly downloads increased from 1.7K at the beginning of January to 3.4K by the end of March. MOVA, a new entrant, had varying weekly downloads, peaking at 5.5K in mid-February before stabilizing around 800 by the end of March.

Slutta experienced a consistent decline in weekly downloads, starting at nearly 4K in early January and falling to just under 700 by the end of March.
